Hello -  I am Adele and I am the manager of Nurserytime in Hebburn.

My passion for early years education and childcare has grown ever since becoming a member of the Nurserytime team four years ago. I believe every child should have the opportunity to a stimulating and fulfilling childhood, I thoroughly enjoy being a part of our children's learning and find it fascinating to watch and support them in growing and developing, this drives me to gain as much knowledge and experience in the field of good quality childcare giving children opportunities to flourish in the early years and prepare for school.

We are situated close to places we visit regular like Soft play facilities, library, local park and our shopping centre where we shop for our baking ingredients. Our local park is in a short walking distance and we visit here weekly for our forest school outing to learn about the outdoors and nature.

"I never teach my pupils, I only provide the conditions in which they can learn" - Albert Einstein.

We combine our experiences from our weekly outings with learning and development within the nursery, this often takes place in our unique Outside Classroom and well resourced Art studio. Children's interest are enhanced using materials and natural resources collected from our forest school experiences which are open ended and allow children to make choices and use their imagination.

"The environment must be rich in motives which lend interest to activity and invite the child to conduct their own experiences"- Maria Montessori.

Nurserytime encourages and supports children to learn and develop at their own speed with the provision of unique and exciting opportunities and open ended activities. We follow a child-centred pedagogy allowing learning around their own interests, needs and abilities which I believe will equip them with the confidence, skills and knowledge to flourish in the future and prepares for school.
